BOTH HOMES PRESSPlain-language tools for the hardest conversations of family life.

About the Press

Both Homes Press is an independent publisher of plain-language tools for the hardest conversations of family life, founded in 2026.

Why “Both Homes”

A child of separated parents lives in two homes. Almost everything written for those parents is written for one side — how to win, how to cope, how to be right. We publish for the two homes instead: the messages, schedules, and decisions that have to work across both front doors.

Our books are plain-language tools: word-for-word scripts, checklists, and simple systems a stressed parent can use on a phone at midnight. They are built from real reader problems, checked against official sources, and reviewed by a person before they are published.

The press was founded in 2026 and publishes The Clean Record Series by Dana Whitaker. It is small on purpose: few titles, each one finished properly.

What we publish

Practical nonfiction for separated and divorced parents: scripts, checklists, systems. General information, written to be used.

What we don’t

Legal or therapeutic advice. Memoir or revenge narratives. Anything that puts a child in the middle. Invented credentials, reviews, or endorsements — ever.
