Accessibility
Both Homes Press wants this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology.
Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Accessibility is part of how this site is designed and reviewed, not an afterthought.
What we do
- Semantic, structured pages that work with screen readers and keyboard navigation.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, including book covers.
- A color palette checked for readable contrast, and visible focus on every control.
- Bibliographic data published as real text, not images, so it can be read aloud, copied, and cited.
Conformance status
We consider this site partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA: most content conforms, and we continue to test and fix remaining issues as the site grows. This statement will be updated as reviews are completed.
Tell us about a problem
If any part of this site is hard for you to use, please tell us through the contact form (choose “General” and mention accessibility). Describe the page and the problem you ran into. We reply within 3 business days and will work on a fix or an accessible alternative.
