Privacy Policy
This page explains, in plain language, what information bothhomespress.com collects, why, and what choices you have.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact messages — when you use the contact form, we receive the reason you choose, your name, your email address, your organization if you give one, and your message, so we can reply.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data — like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server information (such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited) to keep the site secure and working.
- Privacy-respecting measurement — we may use simple, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful. This site does not use third-party advertising trackers and does not build advertising profiles about you.
This site has no newsletter or signup form. Reader email lists are run by the author’s site, under its own privacy policy.
How we use it
- To reply to messages you send us, including media, rights, and review-copy requests.
- To keep the site secure and improve it.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Who processes data for us
We use a small number of service providers, only for the jobs described here:
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) — delivery of contact-form messages to our inbox.
- Purelymail — our mailbox provider for correspondence.
How long we keep it
- Contact messages: as long as needed to handle your message and keep a reasonable record of the correspondence.
- Server logs: kept for a limited period for security, then deleted or anonymized.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Contact us through the contact form or at privacy@bothhomespress.com and we will act on your request promptly. If your local law (for example in the EU/UK or California) gives you additional rights, we honor them.
Children
This site is written for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has contacted us, tell us and we will delete the message.
Safety note
Please do not send us personal details about your children, your co-parent, or an ongoing court case. The press cannot provide individual advice. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number; support organizations are listed on the author site’s Safety & Support Resources page.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update this page and its dates.
